Internships

The connection with Bath Spa University affords aspiring students the opportunity to experience day to day business activities in music publishing and participate in ongoing creative projects.

In 2020-2021, KWS Blank Canvas Music hosted its first internship program with a BSU Masters student in the Arts Management program for two subsequent semesters providing A&R and marketing experiences and an opportunity to interface in special projects and daily activities of music publishing.

 

Our program provides supervision and regular conferences with feedback to assist the intern in completing individual project goals and encourages exploration of music publishing and current challenges and changes in the industry. Interns are offered an opportunity to attend MPA workshops to augment their understanding of music publishing.

 

We hope to continue providing BSU students an opportunity to network and explore music publishing experiences for their future career choices in the music industry.
